26th Annual Gemini Awards Culminate with Star-Studded Broadcast Gala
The Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television is pleased to announce tonight's seven Gemini Award Winners at this evening's Broadcast Gala on CBC Television which included winners in the Comedy, Drama and Sports categories. Comedian Russell Peters, a former Gemini Award winner, hosted the star-studded event which took place at CBC in Toronto.

The Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television is pleased to announce that comedian Steve Patterson will host the 26th annual Gemini Industry Gala on August 30 and Broadcaster Jian Ghomeshi will host the Gemini Industry Gala on August 31.
Superstar Comedian Russell Peters to host the 26th Annual Gemini Awards September 7, 2011 at 8 pm.
CBC Television and the Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television announced today that global comedy star Russell Peters will host the 26th Annual Gemini Awards.

The Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television is pleased to announce the 61 Gemini Award Winners in the Drama, Children's or Youth, Comedy, and Variety categories, including the final five Academy Special Awards. The second of two Industry Galas, the event was hosted by celebrated Canadian broadcaster Jian Ghomeshi (Q).
